mock proj: spotify jam

The objective was to create graphics that promote Spotifys’ Jam feature. Spotify Jam is a feature that allows multiple devices to control the same queue. Using Googles’ Nano Banana, I generated images to use in the campaign to promote this feature. This was supported by Adobe Photoshop, for colour and editing.

The Prompt

Using Google Nano Banana, I used the prompt:

A tight, energetic, eye-level candid shot capturing five happy friends in their early 20s crammed into a moving car at night. Races are randomly generated. The driver is male; the front passenger is a female. Two friends are visible squeezed into the backseat. They are all visible, mid-song, with open mouths and joyful expressions, singing with high energy. The interior reflects the exterior lighting. The exterior is a dark, wet city street, with blurred bokeh of yellow and red traffic lights streaking past the windows. Photorealistic, cinematic depth of field, sharp focus on the faces, high contrast, intimate atmosphere.

When adapting this image, I wanted to capture Spotifys’ theme. Using Adobe Photoshop, adjustments were made to highlights and saturation values to bring out the neon pinks, purples, cyan and the blues for a more contrasted look reminiscent of Spotify Promotional Materials.
